A 27-person eyecare practice ran time-off and payroll entirely on paper: handwritten request slips, manual balance tracking, payroll prepped by hand every period. We built them a full custom system on Google Workspace. A simple form feeds an engine that tracks balances, posts approvals to a shared calendar, notifies staff, and generates the payroll report automatically each pay period. All 26 employee records migrated, anniversary-based accrual, weekend-aware math, verified by a 22-check test suite.

I'm dedicated to staying at the forefront of AI so I can create the best results for the people I work with. I started Stephens AI to help business owners put systems in place that actually work for them, and I'm passionate about solving the real problem instead of just adding more tech. I've built everything from custom software to full AI systems for businesses across the US, Japan, and South Korea, each one designed around how that business actually works.

I'm also an AI educator, helping everyday people get real value out of these tools. Outside of work, you'll find me learning a new language, traveling somewhere new, or out for a run.
